Subhan Chaudry

Subhan Chaudry is a Senior Cloud Engineer at Oracle with an M.S. in Artificial Intelligence from UT Austin. He designs and deploys AI on cloud infrastructure, with a focus on taking models out of research and into dependable production systems.

Chaudry has been at Oracle since 2021, advancing from Cloud Engineer to Staff to Senior. He began on the database and custom applications side, then spent several years in healthcare, where he built Oracle Cloud’s first clinical image repository and trained convolutional models on GPU notebooks for pulmonary embolism detection. He also led data science for several of Oracle’s largest healthcare customers, developing predictive models for patient care and operational pipelines.

His current work centers on agentic systems and LLM integration: NL2SQL on Oracle Database, and orchestration across multiple models to make multi-step workflows reliable in production. He concentrates on the factors that determine whether an AI system holds up in practice, including evaluation, benchmarking, secure deployment, and the cost and latency trade-offs behind every deployment decision.

Chaudry completed his M.S. in Artificial Intelligence at UT Austin in 2026, with coursework in deep learning, natural language processing, reinforcement learning, optimization, and AI in healthcare. He holds dual degrees in computer science and business administration from the University of Michigan, where he also founded DeepBreaths, a venture-backed mental health platform for educational institutions.

He serves on the board of DREAM of Detroit, a nonprofit combining community organizing with housing and land development on Detroit’s Westside.
